1. Esplora Interactive Science Centre – Kalkara

The Esplora Interactive Science Centre is situated in the south of Malta, at Villa Bighi in Kalkara overlooking the Grand Harbour.

2. Playmobil FunPark – Hal Far

Playmobil FunPark is situated in the south of Malta, in Hal Far.

The Funpark is situated just next to the Playmobil factory and offers indoor as well as outdoor play area.

Playmobil is safe, friendly, and is a stimulating environment for your children to enjoy.
The children will enjoy playing for hours in the different themed zones, where children can discover the classic Playmobil toys. When the kids need a break there is the restaurant, for all the family to enjoy a snack.

Once you are ready to head back home, you can take something with you home, by purchasing Playmobil toys from the shop.

3. The Aquarium – Bugibba

Situated in Bugibba, in the northern part of the Maltese Islands, the Malta National Aquarium is worth a visit.

Spread over 20,000 square meters which include the Aquarium, public landscaped belvedere on the promenade, a multistory car park, catering facilities (including a beach club), merchandise out, and a tourist information kiosk, it is worth a visit.

In total there are 41 tanks at the Malta National Aquarium including reptiles, insects and amphibians, tropical fish and Mediterranean fish as well. And if you get hungry, there are restaurants nearby and lovely Qawra promenade with numerous coffee shops.

Visiting Aquarium can be a whole-day family experience.

4. Popeye Village – Mellieha

Popeye Village is situated on the outskirts of Mellieha. Popeye Village originated from a film set in 1980 Musical Production “Popeye” and has become one of the major tourist attractions.

One can find various fun activities for the young and adults alike. During the summer months you can enjoy some time by the pool or else by the beach.

5. Valletta

Valletta is the capital city of Malta, and when visiting you can just enjoy the architecture of the city or else enjoy some visits to the many museums.

Valletta offers experiences such as Malta Experience – 45 min film nicely showcasing 7000 years of Maltese History, or Malta 5d short film experience where you feel the “real” emotions of the movie of the Maltese history, magnified with 3D film, moving seats, water spray etc. that be specially attractive to youngeer population.
